When it comes to webhosting, there are a lot of important factors to consider. I mean sure, the vast majority of webmasters these days will simply let the price of the package be the deciding factor but there are a lot more factors that should be taken into account than purely the cost. Personally, the 2 things I look for first are a high bandwidth allowance and a good about of memory. Processor speed, when it comes to web hosting is negligible, a large amount of ram and bandwidth are the two key elements when it comes to hosting websites. Luckily these days, even the lowest packages on the market offer hefty amounts of bandwidth and you can often find a well priced deal with a more than adequate amount of ram. We are only talking about hosting websites after all.
One thing I have noticed when it comes to web hosting is that it definitely pays to shop around. There are so many web hosting firms out there these days competing with each other that there is always going to be someone offering the same package as the next guy for a lower price.
A good way to find reliable hosting firms is by reading web hosting reviews. I read some reviews on Google Web Hosting recently and wasn’t too impressed with the service a company as large as Google offers. Bluehost appeared to be a decent option though if anyone is in the market for a reliable host.
