From time to time I get asked by Webmasters reading my web hosting reviews about the best methods out there for building there own site. For the most part, I tell them to avoid expensive web designers and developers (sorry guys). I just think that for what the average guy on the street needs, you don’t need all the bells and whistles that expensive designers bolt on. Most people want a basic site and they want this for the least outlay possible.
I personally think the best way to create a website is to using one of the numerous website builder applications that you can find online. These apps seem to guide you through the entire build and content addition process with great ease and are that easy to use, even my older brother can do it (and that’s saying something!). Software such and this is ideal if you simply want to setup a personal site or even a more complex ecommerce / shop front site but simply don’t have the sort of budget to get it done via a custom solution. If you want to learn how to build a website great, study the code. But if you want a solution, consider using an online website builder.
